Julie Lucido

President & CEO

Marketing Plus Owner and CEO, Julie Lucido, has been working in marketing her entire adult life. Her family ties to the produce industry go back even further than that. As a graduate of the Theatre Arts program at University of California, Santa Cruz and the Master’s in Marketing program at University of California, Davis, Julie brings a strong creative approach to her leadership philosophies and to all projects that come through Marketing Plus’s door. She has conceived and developed countless award-winning domestic and international creative marketing campaigns, package designs, ads, and point-of-sale materials over the years, while her friendly-but-firm management style continues to foster strong and long-lasting relationships with clients, media contacts, and tradeshow personnel, some of which span multiple decades. Julie has led her team and clients in winning multiple Ad Federation awards, Communicator Awards, and other notable industry distinctions, including multiple best of show and impact and innovation honors. In 2013, she was personally recognized as one of The Packer’s Top 20 Women in Produce.

In addition to running an office and a managing clients, Julie serves in multiple capacities on many volunteer boards and committees. These roles include, but are not limited to, member of the Women’s Fresh Perspective Leadership Committee for the Produce Marketing Association, President of the Junior Company Foundation board, member of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Development Committee, member of the Fresno Advertising Federation and American Advertising Federation, volunteer mentor with SCORE, and member of the Certified Trade Show Manager program through the University of Illinois. She is also an SBA Emerging Leader, inaugural class of 2011, and has lectured as a guest speaker for PMA and for the National Growers Association. Outside of work and volunteer projects, she continues to utilize her theatre background as a performer, director, and choreographer, sometimes for her own projects and other times as a very over-qualified volunteer at her daughters’ elementary school.

Johnna Johnson

ACCOUNTS DIRECTOR & MEDIA MANAGER

Johnna joined the team five years ago, after completing her BS in Business Administration with an Option in Marketing from Cal State University, Fresno. Prior to entering the world of marketing, Johnna honed her business, selling, and customer service skills in the retail industry,  while her many years of volunteer work have helped grow and polish the natural empathy, attention to detail, and big picture comprehension proficiencies that make her so invaluable to her clients. Johnna has been serving on the Red Heart Ball Committee for the Central Valley branch of the Ronald McDonald House since 2014, as a Planning Committee Member for PMA’s Fresh Summit (the largest produce trade show in the nation) since 2016, and as one of the founding committee members for Dress to Success Fresno, a non-profit that provides “a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools to help women thrive in work, and in life,” since the organization’s inception. In her spare time, she tries to fit in active, outdoor activities (like horseback riding!) whenever she can. Otherwise, she can be found bringing her food styling and recipe creating skills home from the Marketing Plus office into her personal kitchen, where she loves creating fun and delicious meals for her husband, teenage daughter, and infant son.

Anthony Bonilla

ACCOUNTS & TRADESHOW COORDINATOR

Anthony graduated from California State University Fresno with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing. Prior to interning with Marketing Plus, Anthony developed his customer service and relationships skills in the restaurant, child development and brewing industry. Starting as an Intern with Marketing plus in the spring of 2019, Anthony has strived to immerse himself within the company culture. He brings his creativity and initiative attitude with every project he is involved in. His duties include social media management, community engagement and copywriting for clients. In his free time Anthony enjoys running and playing soccer. When not active, he loves spending time with his family and friends, especially his wife and two dogs.

Oscar Burgos

Art Director & Graphic Designer

Oscar graduated from CSU, Fresno with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design. He brings experience in both print and digital design to Marketing Plus, as well as an abundance of good, thoughtful instinct and heaps of imaginative, can’t-be-taught levels of natural talent. His curious and creative nature has led him to explore other disciplines in art and design, including photography, web design, and motion graphics. Oscar enjoys the environment at Marketing Plus because there is always something new to learn and always inspiration available to spark his creativity. The team at M+ loves Oscar for his ability to take direction and run with it in exciting and inventive ways, and for his ability to help pick lunch spots when the rest of the staff is being indecisive.

Taylor Uyeno

Social Media & PR Coordinator

Taylor is completing her final semester at California State University, Fresno and upon completion will have her B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. She joined the Marketing Plus team in the Fall of 2020 and through all of the chaos the year brought, rose to the occasion with flare and grace. Taylor is a big-time food and beverage lover which makes her an ideal team member for Marketing Plus. In her spare time, she loves to go roller skating at the local roller rink. She also loves binge watching Netflix and growing herbs in her garden.

Alison allwine

Social media & tradeshow specialist

Alison has been coordinating and hitting the road for clients working the trade show circuit for over five years with Marketing Plus. She is an accomplished performer, tightly networked, naturally social, and brimming with that whole “youthful energy” thing, which means she actually enjoys logging in travel hours and working late nights events. In between her travels, and trade shows, Alison can be found belting her lungs out in numerous stage musicals and searching for the best pizza in California.

Haley White

Content Contributor & video Producer

Haley comes to Marketing Plus with a strong background in commercial and theatrical marketing. She was most recently employed as a producer and casting director for Windsong Productions, where she handled the pre-production needs for hundreds of local and national commercials. In addition to a host of other non-profit volunteer work, she currently serves as the creative director of The Fools Collaborative, a local artistic collective focused on combining art with community, philanthropy, and various social justice causes. Haley is in the early stages of earning her MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College. When she’s not studying or creating blogs and ad copy, you can usually find her buried in her laptop at one of Fresno’s many coffee shops, drinking copious amounts of caffeine and overthinking the edits to one of her bazillion unfinished screenplays.

Sheri Seely

Bookkeeper

Sheri has been with Marketing Plus since 2019 and is the backbone of our office. Throughout the majority of her career, Sheri has worked at the front desk with administrative duties for insurance and dental offices. Notably, she worked for the dental office of Freed & Gapper in Bakersfield CA. Her job duties included insurance and data entry and booking. She retired in 2018 to move closer to her daughter and stepmother. In Sheri’s spare time she enjoys sewing, golf, and embroidery. She has also traveled to Mexico, Indonesia and about 10 of the US states.
